Local fine artist Claire Jagger commissioned me to create a simple and functional logomark to represent her work, as well as setup a customised WordPress site to replace her previous Blogger site.

After initial discussions on requirements, we decided that a monochrome logomark would work well so as not to compete with Claire’s often brightly coloured art. Predominantly hand-made or repurposed, it was important the logo reflected the way in which her artwork is created, so hand drawn type is contained within a delightfully rough-edged circle, created with bush and ink. The circle is of particular significance, as Claire is known for creating pieces of art out of old vinyl LPs.

The branding was rolled out onto the website, social media channels, and Etsy shop. Businesscards were also created and the overall package provides a consistant and professional looking platform from which Claire can showcase her fine art work.
