I am excited to be involved in the The Official Bad Robot Art Experience exhibition taking place at Gallery 1988, in Los Angeles.
G1988 have teamed up producer, director and all round movie mega-maker JJ Abrams to celebrate and commemorate some of the work he’s been involved in creating.
My contribution is a 3 colour, hand-pulled screenprint, entitled Enterprise Down. It’s a 24” x 13” print in a very limited edition of 30 – signed, numbered and titled at the bottom.
You can see some process pics of the printing over on my Tumblr.
I am very honoured and excited to have been asked by Gallery 1988 to be invovled in their forthcoming Tribute to Judd Apatow exhibition.
Judd is an American film producer, director, and screenwriter and you will have undoubtedly have come across some of the comedy films with which he’s been involved. Whether it’s Freaks and Geek, Cable Guy, Knocked Up, Anchorman, Superbad, or 40-year-old Virgin, Judd’s comedic career has been incredible and G1988 have assembled a wide variety of artists from across the globe to pay tribute with funny pictures and arts and whatnot.
Judd will be there in person hosting the opening night, which takes place on Tuesday 4th December from 7-10pm at Gallery 1988’s Melrose, LA venue.
Followers of my social media channels may have already seen the work I’ve produced for this exhibition (oops, I think I was meant to keep it secret) but for those that haven’t: if you’re a fan of weathermen with comedically low IQs then I think you’ll be in for a treat.
